General Welfare

This week it was very cold in Nairobi and the surrounding towns. We encouraged and ensured that all the children were warmly dressed.

Tr. Queenter of pre primary 2 a wasn’t feeling well. She was still able to come to school although under medication. Joy Blessing and Joan Shemekha were absent since they were unwell. The teacher contacted their parents in order to understand the situation.

Jared Ombire from the grade 2 got sick this week and the parent reported it to the class teacher and the Director who facilitated for the boy to be taken to hospital.

This week, the learning process continued. Preschool teachers focused on lessons on handwriting, drawing and artwork which included coloring pictures. Children in grade i and 2 learned different this as per their curriculum.

Fun Day

Friday July 13 was reserved as fun day where all the kids took a short trip Stima Sports Ground in Ruaraka and participated in activities such as train riding, trampolines, bouncing castles, swimming and other games. The children were happy to have such a day where they could take a break from their classrooms and have fun.
