Hygiene practices, among women and girls, is improved by creating access to hygiene resources such as sanitary towels and handwashing soap. This can be a problem for struggling families. But with support from organizations such as LVCT, in partnership with Hands of Love, such a burden becomes lessened.
LVCT is a Kenyan-based NGO partnering with USAID to promote reproductive health across communities through hygiene safety campaigns, free HIV/AIDs testing and counselling, and distribution of free sanitary towels for women and girls across Kenya.
On 9th September, Hands of Love received a donation, from LVCT, bar soaps and sanitary towels which were distributed among our parents and teachers. Such donations complement our aim in enhancing safe hygiene practices. We are appreciative and remain committed to continued partnership with LVCT in enhancing hygiene practices in our school community.
